KC Ellinwood, Author, Blood Sacrifice
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, KC Ellinwood had
spent early years listening . She practiced
law for 13 years in criminal defense, focusing on sex and violent
crimes and tried over 50 trials.
The faux autobiographical novel, JB Stearns, Vampire: A Life in Eight Ages, and the short fiction The Letters are inspired by her great, great, great grandfather, Junius Brutus
Stearns (1810-1885), a member of the National Academy of Design and
creator of the series of six painting of George Washington, including
Washington as a Statesman, later the subject of a 1937 US Postage Stamp. KC's inspiration derived from many conversations with her grandfather, an ardent stamp and coin collector, who created an unrivaled collection of 18th and 19th century wax seals and postage from Jamaica
Other fiction includes short stories and poetry, and a sequel to Blood Sacrifice called, Iris Waites: Munchausen's Girl.
